No.9 of 1972), in its application to the Province of the Punjab Preamble.— WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Co-operative Societies (Reforms) Order, 1972 (P.O. No.9 of 1972), in its application to the Province of the Punjab, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Co-operative Societies (Reforms) Order (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1974. (2) It extends to the whole of the Province of the Punjab. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of Article 5 of P.O. No. 9 of 1972.— In the Co-operative Societies (Reforms) Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 9 of 1972), in its application to the Province of the Punjab, in Article 5, in clause (3), for the figures “24”, the figures “36” shall be substituted. 3.
