JURISDICTION OF COMMISSIONER INLAND REVENUE, RTO-III, KARACHI TO EXERCISE POWERS AND FUNCTIONS IN RESPECT OF CERTAIN PERSONS OR CLASSES OF PERSONS OR CASES OR CLASSES OF CASES OR AREAS Notification No. S.R.O. 676(I)/2011, dated 29th June, 2011:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 209 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, sub-section(1) of section 30 and section 31 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, sub-section(1) of section 29 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, section 7 of the Finance Act, 1989(V of 1989) and Wealth Tax Act, 1963, as amended by the Finance(Amendment) Ordinance, 2009, and in super-session of all previous notifications in this respect the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to amend the Notification No. 57(2) S-DOS/2011-29524-R dated 01-03-2011 in respect of Commissioners Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office-III, Karachi as under:-- A. Para(viii) in column 4 of Sr. No. 1 at page 2 for Zone-l shall be omitted and replaced as under; (viii) All Provincial/Federal Government employers whose names begin with alphabet A to M and are located in former Civil Division of Karachi; and B.
