SROS: S.R.O. 834(I)/2007, Islamabad, the 17th August, 2007 S.R.O. 834(I)/2007, Islamabad, the 17th August, 2007:- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section(15A)(c) of section 2 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 read with clause(c) of section 43 of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan is pleased to specify the PIA First Sukuk Company Limited as a Financial Institution to undertake a one time leasing transaction of purchase, lease out and sale of Aircrafts. Section 1(2)-Extent, Tribal Areas.-Article 247(3) of the Constitution of Pakistan provides that: No Act of Majlis-i-Shoora(Parliament) shall apply to any Federally Administered Tribal Area or to any part thereof, unless the President so directs, ?and in giving such a direction with respect to any law, the President or, as the case may be, the Governor, may direct that the law shall, in its application to a Tribal Area or to a specified part thereof, have effect subject to such expectations and modifications as may be specified in the direction.
