SROS: S.R.O. 76(I)/2006, dated 28th January, 2006 DRAFT AMENDMENT IN THE INCOME TAX RULES, 2002-IN FIRST SCHEDULE. SUBSTITUTION OF PART XII Notification No. S.R.O. 76(1)/2006, dated 28th January, 2006:- The following draft of certain further amendments in the Income Tax Rules, 2002, proposed to be made by the Central Board of Revenue in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 237 of the Income Tax Ordinance. 2001(XLIX of 2001), is hereby published, as required by sub-section(3) of the said section, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days of its publication in the official Gazette. (2) Any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft amendments, before the expiry of the aforesaid period, shall be considered by the Central Board of Revenue. DRAFT AMENDMENT In the aforesaid Rules, in the First Schedule, for Part XII, the following shall be substituted, namely:- PART XII OF THE FIRST SCHEDULE Prescribed Form for Notice of Demand in payment of tax due.- Notice of demand required to be served upon the taxpayers under section 137(2) shall be in the following form, namely:-- GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN DEPARTMENT OF INCOME TAX OFFICE OF THE_____________ Notice of Demand under Section 137(2) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 N.T.
