SROS: S.R.O. 284(I)/2003, dated 17th March, 2003 WAIVER OF ADDITIONAL TAX AND PENALTY PAYABLE ON THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SALES TAX SHORT PAID FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY, 1998 TO JUNE, 1999 Notification No. S.R.O. 284(I)/2003, dated 17th March, 2003.--WHEREAS M/s. Pakistan Mineral Development Cooperation(Private) Limited(hereinafter referred to the M/s. PMDC) Islamabad have applied for waiver of additional tax and penalty payable on the principal amount of sales tax short paid by them for the period from July, 1998 to June, 1999 on the grounds that M/s. PMDC, had through its sister concern namely M/s. Lakhra Coal Development Company Limited,(M/s. LCDC) a joint stock company of WAPDA, Government of Sindh and PMDC with majority shareholding supplied coal to M/s. WAPDA, jointly in a mutually agreed proportion.
