Constitution of Pakistan (1973)--Art. 212(3)---Compulsory retirement from service---Civil servant was charged with absence from duty having been served with show-cause notice and obtaining reply thereto, she was removed from service---Service Tribunal, however, condoned delay in filing appeal; upheld factual finding against civil servant but converted the punishment into compulsory retirement---Leave to appeal--­Finding of fact recorded by departmental authority as upheld by Service Tribunal was not liable to interference at such a late stage i.e. before Supreme Court--­Punishment finally awarded to civil servant was also proportionate to the gravity of misconduct committed---No case for interference was thus made out---Leave to appeal was refused.
