Civil service------- Termination of services---Civil servants were selected for appointment against posts of junior clerks on ad hoc basis and on purely temporary basis subject to regularisation of their services by Departmental Committee---Civil servants on direction of Authority appeared before Departmental Selection Committee where they were interviewed thereafter, their services were regularised---Services of civil servants were. subsequently, terminated on ground that civil servants who were called upon to appear before Selection Committee, had failed in selection---Order according to which services of civil servants were regularised, had neither been recalled or cancelled by Competent Authority nor such orders were alleged to be forged documents---Competent Authority which had passed orders regularising services of civil servants on ground that civil servants had been cleared by Departmental Selection Committee, could not pass any order to terminate services of civil servants on the ground that civil servants had been declared unsuccessful by Departmental Selection Committee, especially when order regularising services of civil servants was in existence and was not recalled or cancelled. Ghazala as all these appeals are arising out of the common orders which have been impugned in these appeals and moreso these involve common points of law. 1.
