(a) Displaced Persons (Land Settlement) Act (XLVII of 1958)-------S. 2(3)---Evacuee property---Any property which is not evacuee, cannot be so treated despite mistaken allotment. (b) Displaced Persons (Land Settlement) Act (XLVII of 1958)--- ----S. 4---Acquisiton of "evacuee interest"---Scope---Scheme of things under Settlement Laws, had visualized acquisition of evacuee's interest alone and its allotment for rehabilitation of refugees . and the locals ---Properties belonging to non-evacuee including the Government and local Authorities did not become available for allotment except to the extent of evacuee interest therein.
