Banks (Nationalization) Act (XIX of 1974)--S. 18---Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Art. 185(3)---Leave to appeal was granted to consider, inter alia, whether the of High Court, wherein the accused petitioner was held to have acted in good faith in the performance of his functions, had entitled him to statutory indemnity as contemplated under S. 18 of the Banks (Nationalization) Act, 1974, and the complaint lodged by a private person on the same allegations was maintainable.
