He has filed this petition under Article 1.99 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 with a prayer that "this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ of Mandamus directing the respondent i.e. National Bank of Pakistan to promote the petitioner in Officer Grade-II with effect from 1-1-1989 and grant with all back benefits."
