Punjab Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1975--Rr.5 & 6--Removal from service-During the course of another departmental inquiry it was found that civil servant had tampered with the official record was thus served with a fresh charge-sheet and proceeded against under to Rules, 1975--After a regular inquiry, in which civil servant also participated charges against him were found to be established and he was served with a cause notice and after being given a hearing he was removed from service A: against the civil servant, held, had been taken strictly in accordance with relevant disciplinary Rules.
