(a) Offence of Zina (Enforcement of Hodood) Ordinance (VII of 1979)--- -- S. 20 [as amended by Ordinance XX of 1980]-Offences against Property (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance (VI of 1979), S. 24 [as amended by Ordinance XIX of 19801-Criminal Procedure Code (V of 1898), S. 498 read with-. Ss. 1(2), 5(2), & 426-Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Arts. 203-D & 203-G [as added by Constitution (Amendment) Order [C. M. L. A.'s 1 of 1980]-Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Art. 203-DD [as added by Constitution (Second Amendment) Order [C. M. L. A.'s. 4 of 1980]-Enforcement of Hudood Ordinances-Bail in matters of-High Court's jurisdiction-High Court's jurisdiction to entertain and hear appeals, and suspend sentences in cases decided under Enforcement of Hudood Ordinances though ousted by specific provisions of amending Ordinances, yet its jurisdiction to grant bail under S. 498, Criminal Procedure Code, 1898, not ousted by specific provision-Exclusion of jurisdiction to hear appeals or suspend sentences--Cannot affect jurisdiction of High Court under other provision of Criminal Procedure Code, 1898-No specific provisions in Hudood Ordinance being in conflict with provisions of Criminal Procedure Code, 1898 in regard to grant of bail, provisions of Code in matter of Bail, held, continue to operate in respect of cases registered under such Ordinances.[Jurisdiction-Interpretation of statutes].
