Criminal Procedure Code, 1898 (V of 1898)-- ----S. 497--Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 (XLV of 1860), Ss. 302, 34, 311, 109 & 201--Bail, grant of--Allegation of--Murder--The prosecution states that version of Karo Kari by father/present applicant/accused is real version because of statement of Mst. “M”, whereas defence vehemently opposes story of prosecution and categorically states that upon police pressure version of case was changed in favour of Mor and in fact wife of applicant had made statement u/S. 162, Cr.P.C. under duress and lady was gotten confused by police authorities--The investigation continues to remain doubtful and all sort of different versions came up on surface creating further confusions in Case--However, as a result of death, whole case became doubtful for purpose of bail application as it became a case of further inquiry as all these version and counter versions on surface of it are not getting clear and arguments and counter arguments only favoured accused--Killing of daughters by fathers, brothers & uncles is a menace of our society today and such practices are to be discouraged and strong administrative actions are required to stop this disease in our society--Contrarily police makes mockery of case of prosecution during investigation leaving no other way out, but making it a case of further inquiry for accused--Even making it a case of conflicting versions which results in favour of accused--Despite of allegations there is no other concrete evidence that has surfaced against applicant/accused except statement of his wife.                                                [Para 6] A & B Mr. Asif Ali Buledi, Advocate for Applicant.
