Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd. filed a defamation suit under Sections 3 & 9 of the Defamation Ordinance, 2002, claiming Rs. 1 million general damages and Rs. 100 million special damages against respondents for publishing an allegedly false and defamatory press story.
The Trial Court decreed the suit only to the extent of Rs.100,000.
