Case Summary Case Type: Criminal – Abduction and Rape of Minor Location: Karachi East Victim: Ruksana Marium, aged 15/16 years Facts: Appellant Shahbaz @ Shabi lured the minor under the pretext of saving her father, administered intoxicants, took her to a godown, and committed rape with co-accused Mubashir Khalil and one unknown. The act was allegedly recorded on his mobile. Victim narrated the incident to her parents; FIR lodged on 18.06.2021. Arrest, medical examination, and recording of victim’s statement under Section 164 CrPC followed. Trial Court examined 11 prosecution witnesses, including the victim, her parents, police officers, doctors, and magistrate.
