📌 Summary of the Case The petitioners (mother and minor son) filed a constitutional petition seeking issuance of a Juvenile Card for the minor from National Database and Registration Authority. The issue arose because the deceased father’s marital status in NADRA records was incorrectly shown as “unmarried”, while the petitioner claimed a valid marriage in 2014. This discrepancy blocked issuance of the Juvenile Card. Petitioners argued that despite visiting NADRA, the issue remained unresolved due to administrative delay. Both parties agreed on a practical resolution: Petitioners will visit the relevant NADRA office for correction. NADRA is directed to update marital status and process the Juvenile Card without delay.
