Summary
In this civil revision, the petitioners challenged the judgments of the trial court (27.11.2020) and the appellate court (31.03.2021) regarding ownership of 120 kanals of land allegedly transferred through oral gift mutation No.2661 dated 25.05.2002.
The respondents, who were daughters and a son of Muhammad Afzal (deceased) from his second marriage, filed a suit claiming that the mutation was fraudulent and intended to deprive them of their inheritance rights. The petitioners were children of the deceased from his first marriage and claimed the gift was made out of love, affection, and services rendered to the donor.
