Section: 161
Summary:
This case concerns Constitution Petitions filed by candidates for Specialist Cadre Doctors BPS-18, who cleared the written test but were not selected due to their MCPS qualification not being mentioned in the advertisement. The Court noted that MCPS is a recognized postgraduate diploma (Level II-b) and that the omission in the advertisement was an administrative error. Candidates with pending appeals before the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) can have their cases decided within 30 days. Petitions filed directly to the Court without exhausting the statutory remedy under Regulation 161 SPSC 2023 were held not maintainable.
