The petitioner filed a constitutional petition seeking protection for herself and her family, removal of armed/private security guards from her residence, and enforcement of orders passed by the Ex-Officio Justice of Peace. The Court directed the DIG Karachi East to ensure that no law and order situation arises, that police remain neutral in private affairs, and that any complaint of harassment by private security guards be handled by a neutral officer. Upon the statement of respondent No.7’s counsel that no harassment would be caused, the Court disposed of the petition with directions to the police to ensure that the private security guards do not harass the petitioner.
