Summary:
The respondents submitted that no contempt of court was committed, as FIRs were registered strictly under Section 154 Cr.P.C. and the petitioner was later discharged under Section 63 Cr.P.C. The State assured that no further action would be taken against the petitioner except in case of a fresh cognizable offence. In view of this assurance, the Court disposed of the contempt application with directions that no harassment be caused to the petitioner.
