✅ CONCISE SUMMARY OF JUDGMENT
The petitioner challenged his conviction recorded by the Judicial Magistrate under Sections 324 & 337-D PPC, later modified by the Additional Sessions Judge to convictions under Sections 324 & 337-F(3) PPC. The complainant’s revision for enhancement was dismissed. The petitioner, now before the High Court in revision under Section 439 Cr.P.C., sought acquittal.
The High Court reiterated that revisional powers are limited to examining legality, correctness, regularity and propriety of the proceedings and do not permit a full re-appraisal of evidence (PLD 2019 SC 261).
