Section: 15(2)(i), 15(2)(ii),199

Summary:
The petitioner challenged the judgment in Rent Case No.554/2019, seeking to set aside the order allowing the landlord’s ejectment application on grounds of willful default in rent and personal bona fide need. The petitioner failed to produce evidence despite repeated opportunities, while the landlord’s testimony remained credible and unshaken. Both the Rent Controller and appellate court correctly applied the Sindh Rented Premises Ordinance, 1979, Section 15(2)(i) & (ii). The High Court held that no illegality or jurisdictional defect was shown and dismissed the constitutional petition under Article 199 of the Constitution.
