✅ SUMMARY
Petitioner No.1 (Saima) married Petitioner No.2 (Sudeer) against her family’s wishes. Because her relatives (Respondents 7–23) were threatening them and there was a real danger of karo-kari, the couple sought protection from the Court.
The Court had earlier ordered the SHO to provide security. On the final hearing, the private respondents did not appear. The SHO assured protection. The Court directed the SHO to take Rs. 500,000 surety bonds from each private respondent to guarantee that they will not harm the petitioners.
The petition was disposed of with protection orders.
