(a) West Pakistan Urban Rent Restriction Ordinance (VI of 1959)-
- S. 13(6)-Default in payment of rent-Rent Controller directing payment of rent in Court-Parties mutually agreeing payment of rent by tenant to landlord directly-Such practice not disputed by landlord Payments thus made, held, sufficient compliance of order of Rent Controller-Landlord accepting cheques and cheques not dishonoured Payment by such cheques valid and , legal tender-Landlord estopped to take objection about payment of rent direct to him through cheques.
