(a) Criminal Procedure Code (V of 1898) ---

 

-‑‑ Ss. 193 (1). 190 (3) & 526‑--Words "Except as otherwise expressly provided by this Code, or by any other law for the time being in force" in S. 626‑--Significance--‑High Court transferring case, triable by Magis trate, for trial to Sessions Court‑--Contention that Court of Session could not take cognizance of any offence as a Court of original juris diction unless same sent to it by Magistrate under S. 190 (3), held, has no force in circumstances of case‑--Cases‑transferred to Sessions Court under S. 526‑--Sessions Court, held, authorise to try same.
