Summary:
This case involves four petitioners from the Information and Archives Department, Government of Sindh, accused in Reference No. 30 of 2016 filed by NAB for alleged corruption and misuse of authority in awarding a project contract worth Rs.193.971 million to M/s Prime Trading. Two petitioners (Dr. Atta Muhammad Panhwar and Noor Muhammad Leghari) sought pre-arrest bail, while the other two (Zulfiqar Ali Shallwani and Mansoor Ahmed Rajput) sought post-arrest bail.
The Court found prima facie evidence against Shallwani and Rajput for misuse of authority and dismissed their bail petitions, while confirming pre-arrest bail for Panhwar and Leghari due to lack of direct involvement and further inquiry into their roles.
