Background
NAB initiated an inquiry in December 2015 on the directions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (in HRC No.16082-S/2015) regarding massive illegal recruitment of constables and clerical staff in Sindh Reserve Police (SRP), Hyderabad during 2013–14 and 2014–15.
The inquiry was converted into investigation, and Reference No.11/2017 was filed against several senior police officers and officials for corruption and misuse of authority.
