📌 Summary

The petitioner (tenant) challenged eviction orders passed by the Special Judge Rent and upheld by the appellate court. The tenant had filed applications under the Punjab Rented Premises Act, 2009 to deposit rent and prevent eviction. However, he defaulted in depositing rent despite court orders. Under Section 24(4) of the Act, the Rent Tribunal passed a final eviction order. The High Court held that since the petitioner violated court directions, no interference was warranted under Article 199 of the Constitution, and the writ petition was dismissed.
