Summary of Judgment
The petitioners (sanitary worker, dispatch rider, and two computer operators) sought regularization of their services in the Secretary Human Rights Department, Sindh, from their initial appointment dates. They challenged the department’s refusal to regularize them, alleging discrimination, mala fide, and violation of constitutional rights, particularly since similarly placed employees were regularized.
The Court, after reviewing the case history and arguments, dismissed the petition. It held that:
The petitioners were contract employees whose contracts had expired.
