ORDER
Ghulam Abbas, son of Haq Nawaz, caste Ambrana, resident of Adda Fateh Pur Chak No.3/4-L, Tehsil Ahmad Pur Sial, District Jhang, the appellant was involved in case F.I.R. No.398 of 2013, dated 21.12.2013, offence under sections 302, 148, 149 PPC, registered at Police Station Ahmad Pur Sial, District Jhang, and was tried by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ahmad Pur Sial, District Jhang. The trial court seized with the matter in terms of judgment dated 10.10.2020 convicted the appellant under Section 302(b) PPC and sentenced to Death with the direction to pay Rs.500,000/- as compensation under section 544-A of Cr.P.C. to the legal heirs of deceased Muhammad Irfan and in case of default, the appellant would further undergo simple imprisonment for six months.
2. Feeling aggrieved by the judgment of the trial court, Ghulam Abbas, the appellant, has assailed his conviction by filing the instant jail appeal bearing Criminal Appeal No.58516-J of 2020. The trial court also referred M.R. No.116 of 2020 (The State vs. Ghulam Abbas) for confirmation of the death sentence awarded to the appellant, Ghulam Abbas. Both matters arising out of the same judgment of the trial court are being disposed of through a single judgment.
