ORDER
Ihsan Ilahi alias Shani (appellant) involved with case FIR No.391/2017 dated 02.11.2017 registered under Sections 302,324 & 34 PPC at Police Station Ganda Singh Wala, District Kasur, was tried by learned Additional Sessions Judge/Judge MCTC, Kasur. Trial court vide judgment dated 02.11.2019 convicted and sentenced the appellant in the following terms:-
Under Section 302(b) PPC to suffer death sentence as ta’zir. He was also directed to pay compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- in terms of Section 544-A, Cr.P.C. to the legal heirs of Muhammad Sufian (deceased) and in default of payment of compensation to undergo simple imprisonment for six months.
