Summary of Order Sheet:

A woman and her son filed a constitutional petition seeking protection from threats and harassment allegedly by private individuals (Respondents 11–19), who they claim are linked to the false implication of the husband/father in a murder case. The petitioners alleged attacks, property damage, illegal occupation of agricultural land, threats to education, and ongoing police harassment in collusion with private parties.

The Court acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations and emphasized the constitutional protection of fundamental rights, particularly against harassment. While the police stated that the husband is a named suspect in two murder cases and denied any harassment, the Court stressed the need for fair legal processes and warned the police against overstepping their authority. The Court reiterated that harassment, even by law enforcement, violates Articles 4, 9, 14, 15, and 25 of the Constitution.
