Punjab Rented Premises Act, 2009 (VII of 2009)--

----S. 22(2)--Constitution of Pakistan, 1973, Art. 199--Ejectment petition--Submission of wakalatnama on behalf of respondent--Right to file application was closed--No denial of relationship of tenant and landlord--Default in payment of rent--Challenge to--The petitioner should approach Rent Tribunal with an appropriate application under law for determination of fact whether petitioner had attempted to file application for leave to contest within ten days and was prevented on pretext of impugned order--Impugned order was within ten days--The petitioner should moved an application before Rent Tribunal within seven days, which should decide same strictly in accordance with law and record--The Rent Tribunal should also address respondent’s grievance regarding non-payment of rent--Petition disposed of.
