Criminal Procedure Code, 1898 (V of 1898)-- ----S. 497(2)--Pakistan Penal Code, (XLV of 1860), Ss. 324, 447, 511, 337-F(i), 337-A(i),148 & 149--Bail after arrest, grant of--Further inquiry--Three injured witnesses, including complainant were medically examined--Role assigned to petitioner does not coincide with injury on the person of complainant--As per medico legal examination--Injury is skin deep only and simple in nature--Likewise, other two injured persons also received superficial injuries--This feature of the case makes the case of petitioner one of further inquiry and probe--Petitioner stands arrested in the instant case and is no more required for the purposes of investigation--Bail was allowed. ABDUL AZIZ, JUSTICE---.---- This is an application for bail after arrest on behalf of Safdar Iqbal in case FIR No. 432/2016, dated 18.8.2016, under Sections 324, 447, 511, 337-F(i), 337-A(i), 148, 149, PPC registered at Police Station Mitro, District Vehari. 2. Succinctly stated the case of the prosecution, as it gleans from the crime report is to the effect that on 18.8.2016 at about 10:00 PM, Amir Bashir (complainant) alongwith others was present in his compound; that petitioner and his co-accused emerged on the scene, who were about 13/14 in number while armed with different weapons; that the assailants fired at the complainant and others from their respective weapons, which resulted into the injuries on the perosns of Amir Bashir, Rizwan and Hasnat. 3. Arguments heard; record perused. 4. It evinces from record that the occurrence which formed basis of instant case took place in dark hours of the night, during which three persons allegedly received fire-arm injuries on different parts of their persons. So far as, Safdar Iqbal (petitioner) is concerned, he is saddled with the responsibility of having fired from a .12-bore gun which hit on the nose of Amir Bashir (complainant). Though, during this occurrence, Rizwan and Hasnat also received injuries, however, these are attributed to Ansar Iqbal, Zafar Iqbal and Akram…
