Criminal Procedure Code, 1898 (V of 1898)-- ----S. 497--Control of Narcotic Substances Act, (XXV of 1997), S. 9(c)--Post arrest bail--Grant of--Further inquiry--Charasweighing 1700 grams and opium weighing 400 grams--Complainant/Sub-Inspector got registered two case within 20-minutes at distance of 27-kilometers away from both places--Petitioner and his brother are students, who is involved in other case--Case within ambit of further inquiry--Bail allowed. THIS ORDER PASSED BY: TARIQ SALEEM SHEIKH, JUSTICE---.--- The petitioner Ghulam Abbas seeks post-arrest bail in case/ FIR No. 143/2018, dated 11.04.2018, registered under Section 9(c) of The Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997 at Police Station Qadirpuran, Multan. 2. Precisely, the allegation against the petitioner as per contents of FIR is that he was apprehended by the police party and "Chars" weighing 1700 grams and "Opium" weighing 400 grams was alleged recovered from his possession. 3. Arguments heard and record perused. 4. Perusal of record reveals that the alleged occurrence took place on 11.04.2018 at about 2.45 p.m. within the area ofChowk Mauza Karpalpur at a distance of 27 Kilometers away from the Police Station and matter was reported at 3.05 p.m.vide Rappat No. 17 and just after recording of aforesaid FIR, Muhammad Afzal, same Sub-Inspector got recorded another FIR No. 145/2018 under Section 9(c) of The Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997 at same police station against Muhammad Amir Akram, brother of the petitioner in a different area at 6.30 p.m. showing distance between place of occurrence and police station as 9 Kilometers.
