Commissioner of Income Tax
Law:
Section:
Section 2(14) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 - Capital gains - Capital assets - Assessment year 1991-92 - Where income from sale of shade trees on coffee estate was taken as capital gains in previous assessment year as declared by assessee, assessee could not take a contrary stand for subsequent assessment year [In favour of revenue] The assessee was an individual and owner of a coffee estate and filed his return of income for the assessment year 1991-92 declaring loss.
