Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 - Contempt of Court - Issue of notice for - Petitioner alleged violation of order passed by Division Bench, as reward money was not disbursed to him - As per directions of Court, respondents were under obligation to pay reward money only as per rules and respondents were justified in making payment of only that part which had become actually due - Whether, if petitioner felt that reward money was not adequate or he was entitled to payment even in other cases before finalisation of appeals, he should have filed appropriate writ petition against respondents seeking relief - Held, yes - Whether since no prima facie case for initiation of contempt proceedings was made out, petition was liable to be dismissed - Held, yes B.P.
