style=\u0027mso-bidi-font-weight:bold\u0027\u003eJudge \u003c/span\u003eof the Supreme Court\r\nof Pakistan. Mr. Justice Javid Iqbal has also held the high office of the Chief\r\nJustice of \u003cst1:City\u003e\u003cst1:place\u003eLahore\u003c/st1:place\u003e\u003c/st1:City\u003e High Court, and\r\nJudge of that Court to which he was appointed in \u003cspan style=\u0027letter-spacing:\r\n.5pt\u0027\u003e1971. Jus\u003c/span\u003etice Javid Iqbal had been an eminent lawyer and was\r\nelected President of the High Court Bar Association Lahore in \u003cspan\r\nstyle=\u0027letter-spacing:.2pt\u0027\u003e1968. \u003c/span\u003eHe has not only been an eminent judge\r\nand a prominent lawyer but fire first love has been \u0027philosophy\u0027 and \u0027literature\u0027.\r\nBeing the son of the great poet  philosopher, Allama Iqbal, he inherited his\r\ndeep interest in philosophy and scholarship from his world renowned father. On\r\nthe one hand it is a great honour to be the son of such a great and eminent\r\npersonality and on the other hand it must have been a very great burden for him\r\nto live upto the high standard of human conduct and scholarship which people\r\nwould expect from the son of a sage like Allama Iqbal. But Dr. Javid Iqbal has\r\nbeen a Worthy son of a worthy father. He has been striving hard to convey the\r\nmessage of Allama Iqbal to different parts of the world by participating in\r\nInternational Conferences and expounding the philosophy and thoughts of the\r\npoet of the East. He had participated in numerous such conferences throughout\r\nthe world where he represented and interpreted Islam and Islamic thought as\r\nenvisaged and expounded by Allama Iqbal in clear and forthright terms as a\r\nmodern, democratic, dynamic and progressive religion of equality, fraternity\r\nand brotherhood of man dedicated to the highest standards of morality, humanity\r\nand social justice and not the religion as has been presented by the\r\nobscurantists.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=MsoNormal style=\u0027text-align:justify\u0027\u003e\u003co:p\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/o:p\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=MsoNormal style=\u0027text-align:justify\u0027\u003eMr. Justice Javid Iqbal is also\r\nauthor of several books and articles mainly on the Islamic and political\r\nthought.
